The “Siloh Ti De” Movement and Holy Center
The story
While in Okomuta, he founded a gospel band and movement called “Siloh Tí Dé,” preaching Christ across the area and establishing the Holy Center at Oke Eri, Okomuta. This became a hub of worship, prayer, and music where he sang many hymns, including notable compositions such as:
- “Ẹ̀ yìn Ará Òkè Síónì, Ẹ wo ohun ìyanu tí Ọba gíjí Holy Center ṣe fún ọmọ rẹ”
- “Wírì wírì ní ẹsẹ̀ ọ̀run wọlé, láti mú ìhìnrere tọ̀ ará Òkè Ẹ̀ rí wá”
Many more of his hymns speak of Oke Eri and Ilu Eri, the Holy Center and its city. They include:
